And here comes my 50th post. I think this is a small but a significant something achievement for me. Therefore I am giving myself couple of flowers to celebrate the occasion.:):)

The next on my list of elements of nature is Water. This  is one section of the american side of the falls. The falls is not very high but very wide in expanse. The sky behind this giant cataract was purposely  drawn darker to emphasize the whiteness of water. The black rock and the trees offer further contrast to this white fury.  I did the sketch in charcoal.

I recently made a road trip to Wolfcreek, Colorado. We skied for a day, took pictures and had fun. After coming back I realized there wasnt a single pic which actually showed us skiing. So this toon is for all of us who skied. I am the ‘speed-racer’ leading the pack…

I have shown the sketch in two parts, one before and after shading. I used 3B and 4B pencils here.
