Here is another quickie.  It was a lot of fun sketching this car. I didnt have to go into the details but covered just enough ground to give the feel.

I have been dealing with serious themes and decided to go for a quickie this time. Here’s a cartoonistic artist at work!!

I used 2B pencil for this sketch.

Men in Black

After  completing the sketch, I thought there is some similarity between the guys here (the one on far left and 3rd one from left) and comedians, Jay Leno and Conan O’Brien.  The feud between these two guys and the NBC associates is well known and publicized. Now that they have reached a settlement, it looks like these men in black are all set to brief the press.

Skiing

I recently made a road trip to Wolfcreek, Colorado. We skied for a day, took pictures and had fun. After coming back I realized there wasnt a single pic which actually showed us skiing. So this toon is for all of us who skied. I am the ‘speed-racer’ leading the pack…

I have shown the sketch in two parts, one before and after shading. I used 3B and 4B pencils here.

I always loved to draw cartoons..Couple of months back when I happened to go to Fedex kinkos, I saw this greeting card on encouragement. It was very nice n funny.  This toon is from that card… It kind of boosts the morale especiallyduring tough times.
