Niagara falls

The next on my list of elements of nature is Water. This  is one section of the american side of the falls. The falls is not very high but very wide in expanse. The sky behind this giant cataract was purposely  drawn darker to emphasize the whiteness of water. The black rock and the trees offer further contrast to this white fury.  I did the sketch in charcoal.

i think this is the best of all..did u draw this all by urself, i mean did u use any other picture as a reference, the jagged kind of darker edges of the waterfall, lending a look that the water flows from a farther place, is just great.. why don’t try publishing ur sketches? just a thought..

    thanks people.
@ ram, I did have a picture for reference and I have quoted it. that thought of urs is a big encouragement…for the moment, my blog serves the purpose..someday i hope to reach that kind of publisher worthy level.
